Gary Barker shot to fame summer 2017 when he landed a spot on Season 14 of X Factor UK. The Liverpool-born singer wowed the judges with his soulful rendition of Sam Cooke’s Change is Gonna Come - and the performance made him an instant audience favorite. While his journey was cut short at the Six Chair Challenge, Barker’s fanbase has continued to grow.
Barker is putting the finishing touches on this first album – still untitled - which he expects to release sometime in May. The album will highlight his versatility and feature a mix of blues, country, and contemporary originals - including a beautiful ballad he wrote for his 2 sons and daughter.
In addition to spending time in the studio, Barker is also busy rehearsing for a string of performances throughout Europe as well as the United States.
Gary has been mastering his trade for some 19 years now playing in some of the world's hots spots for weddings and events including Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and all over Europe.
